The Citadel Sporting Clay Tournament

We will be hosting the 27th Annual Citadel Sporting Clays Tournament on Saturday, February 21st, 2026.

This event is a fundraiser for the The Brigadier Foundation.

This event begins at 9:00am & concludes at 2pm with lunch, awards presentation and raffle.

8:00am - Registration Opens

9:00am - Course Opens

11:00am - Registration Ends

12:30pm - Lunch Available

1:00pm - Raffle

1:15pm - Deadline to turn in score cards

1:30pm - Awards Presentation

Cost is $125 per shooter, this includes targets, 2 raffles tickets, and lunch.

Sponsorships Available:

$250 Bronze - Single shooter, 4 boxes of ammo, 2 raffle tickets, & lunch
$500 Silver - 2-man team, 8 boxes of ammo, 4 raffle tickets, & lunch
$1000 Gold - 4-man team, 16 boxes of ammo, 8 raffle tickets, & lunch

Raffle tickets: $10 per ticket or 15 for $100

There will be 12ga, 16ga, 20ga, 28ga, and .410bore ammo available for purchase.

You can bring your own golf cart or side x side UTV.

We have 4-person golf carts available to rent for $70, Deadline to reserve carts will be Feb. 16th.

This sporting clays shoot was started by the late Jerry Varn, Jr. in 1999. Jerry was a member of the Citadel class of 1953 and a Sports Hall of Fame inductee. His school record of scoring 51 points in a game still stands. Please come and help us make a scholarship possible for a deserving future basketball star!
